How It Works
From time to time, we have projects either on our base or in the surrounding community and have a need for work teams. These projects range from building and maintenance to community service efforts.
Whether your group is skilled in construction, landscaping, or simply willing to serve wherever needed, there is a place for you. Work teams are a great way to combine hands-on service with the experience of being at the border.
Types of Projects
Base Maintenance
Help maintain and improve our facilities in San Juan, TX so we can continue to serve effectively.
Construction Projects
Building projects on the base or in the local community where there is a need for construction support.
Community Service
Serve alongside ABM staff in the surrounding community through various outreach and service efforts.
Good to Know
Groups must bring their own cook. A donation for the food that you use while here is appreciated.
Projects are available on a periodic basis. Apply to be notified when the next project is scheduled.
